How To You Connect Your Phone Through Wireless Apple CarPlay

In order to connect your phone through wireless Apple CarPlay your vehicle must first be in "park" and your phone's Bluetooth settings should be turned on and in discoverable mode. Once you are in park, and your Bluetooth is in discoverable mode you can follow these steps:

Step 1: Tap the grey "Apple CarPlay" icon on your vehicle's touchscreen
Step 2: Tap the green "Connect a Phone" button
Step 3: Open your Bluetooth settings on your phone, then select the matching name as being displayed on your vehicles touch screen display (ex. "MyChevrolet"), and tap "pair"
Step 4: Follow the prompts on your vehicle touchscreen display to complete the wireless pairing
Step 5: Accept the terms & conditions on your vehicle's touchscreen display, then accept the wireless prompt on your phone
Step 6: BOOM, you're connected!

In order to set up your vehicle enjoy your favourite Android apps through wireless, you need to make sure your vehicle is in in "park" and your phone's Bluetooth settings should be turned on and in discoverable mode. Step 1: Make sure you have Android Auto installed on your smart phone. You may have to go to the Google PlayStore on your phone to download it
Step 2: Tap the Android Auto icon on your vehicle's touchscreen display, then tap "Connect a Phone"
Step 3: Open your Bluetooth settings on your phone, then select the matching name as being displayed on your vehicles touch screen display (ex. "546320"), and tap "pair"
Step 4: Follow the prompts on your vehicle touchscreen display to complete the wireless pairing
Step 5: Accept the terms & conditions on your vehicle's touchscreen display, then accept the wireless prompt on your phone
Step 6: BOOM, you're connected!
